Information according to § 14 Abs 4 VerpackG:

Our dual system is operated by Interzero Recycling Alliance GmbH as the authorisation holder. Interzero Recycling Alliance GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of Interzero Circular Solutions Germany GmbH. Used packaging waste from light packaging (LVP) and glass is collected by our dual system via collection contract partners who have been awarded the contract for the respective contract area within the scope of a tender pursuant to Section 23 of the German Packaging Act (VerpackG). In individual cases, so-called special collection systems exist for which a tender is not possible. In these cases, collection takes place within the framework of co-collection contracts with the operational collector usually selected by the public waste management authority. After collection, the fractions are sorted and recycled in accordance with the provisions of Section 16 of the Packaging Act, particularly in the area of WEEE. Insofar as services in this regard are provided by third parties, these are determined within the framework of private-law award procedures. The collection and recycling of the PPK collection fraction has not yet been put out to tender by the dual systems. Instead, PPK packaging waste is regularly collected together with other waste paper. Accordingly, we use the collection and recycling systems for PPK that are supported and in part operated by the public waste management authorities. In addition, there is also the possibility, within narrow limits, of using commercial collection or commercial collection in accordance with the specifications of the Central Packaging Register. Insofar as collected quantities are made available to us for takeover, these, as well as the other fractions, are supplied for recycling/marketing in accordance with the requirements of § 16 VerpackG (Packaging Act) via partners who are determined within the framework of selection procedures under private law. The fees paid by the participating producers are generally trade and business secrets, the publication of which is not permissible from an antitrust law perspective. For guidance, however, we refer to our publicly accessible online offer at https://www.lizenzero.de.
